House of solidarity, the biggest „house of solidarity” in our country, is located in Sutomore, at the south of Montenegro coast, at the very edge of the sea.
House of Solidarity of the Montenegro Red Cross was built after the earthquake that happened on April 15 1979, thanks to the solidarity funds of all ex-Yugoslav republics and donations from other National Societies, provided through the League of Red Cross and Red Crescent (today International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies). The center was built in 1980 and as of 1981 it served as the Children’s Center. Since then, the Center is being used as an educational center of Montenegro Red Cross. With financial support of international donors, it was reconstructed in 2011 and today it is a modern center of closed type that serves for organizing numerous national and international events.
House of Solidarity is located in Sutomore, at the south of Montenegrin coast. Thanks to its location, climate conditions, traffic connections, facilities and programme concept, the Center provides ideal conditions for organizing educational and recreational activities, which makes it especially suitable for stay of preschool groups, primary and highs school groups, as well as students and sport teams. The Center is also an excellent place for organizing seminars, conferences, outdoor classes, at the national and international level. Training center for Lifeguards on Water is located here as well.
